RN101
ReNeu is advancing the RN101 drug development project for neurological disorders. RN101 is a first-in-class small molecule ENT1 (Equilibrative Nucleoside Transporter 1) inhibitor designed to restore brain energy homeostasis through adenosine regulation. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its unique "single mechanism, multiple therapeutic benefits" profile, concurrently improving energy metabolism, protecting synaptic function, reducing neuroinflammation, recovering sleep patterns, decreasing pathological protein accumulation, and restoring cognitive function. Distinct from current single-target therapeutic strategies, RN101 addresses the underlying energy imbalance that emerges early in neurological disorders. This differentiated mechanism provides broad development potential across multiple indications, including Alzheimer’s disease (AD), sleep disorders, tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), and other neurological conditions.
